I am not quite sure what I will end up writing about on this yet. Stuff about me I suppose, my thoughts on life... Because I know that's something everyone needs to hear.
I have had a rather lovely week or so as it goes. I have interviewed Tellison, my favourite band in the world. They were very nice. I will probably put the interview up here at some point. Maybe even the video or audio if I can work out how. I discovered that they want to own a restaurant, which is a good idea I think. I could do that.
I also spent a day in Kingston, which is maybe my favourite place in England. I went to the wonderful Banquet records, if you ever get the chance you should shop there. The staff are the nicest most helpful people ever. And very hard working. I interviewed Jon Tolley and Dave House, they both work there. Dave spent two and a half hours in Starbucks with me, which was especially nice of him. He even bought the drinks, thankyou Dave.We talked lots about downloading vs buying records. I am a little hypocritical when it comes to that. I don't think you should download albums for free. I don't download music much. But I don't buy much either. I would love to have an amazing record collection, but I feel guilty about spending money on music, I feel like I should do more sensible things with my money. Talking to the guys from Banquet really makes me want to go and spend all my money there though. I especially want to buy the Frank Turner double album thingy. I think it would improve my life to have it.
