little boots, what a fatty

So, Little Boots is going on a diet because her 'fans' on twitter have been calling her fat. Here she is, in all her flabby glory...


Oh wait. She's absolutely tiny!! Who in their right mind would look at someone like that and call them fat? Which makes me think, is this all some clever(ish) pr stunt, so that we feel sorry for her and buy her records? Obviously if people are being that mean I do feel for her, but it's never going to be enough to make me like her songs...

biffy clyro, yes

So, generally I dislike NME.com's video content. I'm far from amazing at filming/editing, but often find myself thinking I could have done a better job, which for a site that would like to be the go-to place for music news in the UK, seems kinda bad. However, on this occassion, they have done well, which is why I am stealing one of their videos.


There are several good things about this.

1) It's Biffy. Which always makes me happy.
2) The framing is genius, making Simon's head twice the size of the others. Small things amuse me.
3) Ben's trumpet, incase anyone wasn't sure what one of those sounds like.
4) Ben's 'gawping mug'.
5) They plan to play some UK festivals next year. Yes! Fingers crossed for Glastonbury awesomeness.

oh, hello

So, I had started this blog. I kept it up for a while. Then I entered a dissertation nightmare and it was forgotten. Eight months later, and with a lot of time on my hands, I have decided to ressurect it. I'm not really sure how often I'll update it, or what with, but I definitely have good intentions.

One of the few things I have achieved this week is finally buying a new pair of boots.
